HowtoSpanish was created in 2016 by Erika Sanz, a Mexican native, as an experiment to teach Mexican Spanish in a fun way. With the use of trending/fun gifs and audio that would be useful in real-life scenarios, the community has grown to over 90,000 Spanish learners who wish to practice the language every day.

Some people consider learning with HowtoSpanish a step up from learning from a book.
